A spinning cube is not possible with this plugin. To do a spinning cube, the plugin needs to take 6 inputs at the same time, only then it can analyze the depth information of all the inputs and generate proper 3D output. This is for a later release.
Satish: i beg to differ. I've almost got a cube spinning on my screen already. I put each face on a separate track. I'm just having trouble tweaking the pivot points, but it's getting very close. The other problem is that the faces on the back side of the cube don't automatically disappear, but i can fade out those tracks at the appropriate times.
Many thanks and kudos to Satish and GG. I have downloaded and am playing with the tutorials and "veg" files. This plug-in has made adding effects so much easier for all of us amateurs in video editing.

This is exactly what i meant when i said "only then it can analyze the depth information of all the inputs and generate proper 3D output".
You can tweak the plugin to get a spinning cube with considerable effort, but there is no inbuilt support right now. And it was not meant for that. :) The next release will be having more support for such full-featured object-based 3D
