I boutht VMS Platinum download. I received an email with 3 serial numbers, newbluefx, dvda and vmsplat.

Thanks... I bought the boxed version and thought it should be in the box. There is a serial number card in the box, but only has the two numbers.

When I bought VMS6, the serial numbers were printed in the manuals, not on a separate card. If you have manuals, check there as well.
If you can't find them, install the software, register, and then contact support.

Definitely not in the manuals. Included a 4x6 card clearly labeled 'Product serial number card' , but there are only numbers for VMS8 and DVDA 4.5. I opened a tech support ticket last night. Hope it doesn't take too long to hear back.

Anyone else here have Sony MSP 8? Did your box include the serial number for the NewBlue MSP Effects? I'm getting the run-around from Sony Tech support. First they said there is no number. Then they told to get one from NewBlue. NewBlue Tech Support tells I need to get the number from Sony.

I'm beginning to think I may be sorry for spending $1200 on a Sony camcorder and I should have gone with the Canon.
