Hi

I have just compiled a selection of images, titles and background music which comes to a total of just over 3 minutes.

However when I click the "Make Movie" icon to save it to my hard drive, it just complies the first 10 seconds, which I play it back. I have tried this several times and still get the same result.

When i get the movie sorted, can someone also tell me is it hard to have it streaming from the web.

i would appreciate any valued help, because I do not know where to go from here

jeff

Here's one possibility -- there may be others...

On the second screen of the Make Movie dialog (I'm looking at VMS 6), there is an option "[ ] Render Loop Region Only". Is this checked? If so, and if you happen to have a loop region selected on the first 10 seconds of your video, then thats all VMS will try to render. If this is the case then make sure you un-tick that box.

Not sure what else to look for...

Tim

Thank you kindly for your reply. I unchecked what you had done and now get the error " 0x80070020(message missing)". I checked the box again , but still get the smae error message.

Any kind help would be deeply appreciated

The easy way is to upload the video to youtube or vimeo or several other services. Or, you could roll-your-own using Flash or... I use Silverlight & asp.net for my personal website.

So why are you keeping the solution a secret? Other folks may have the same problem and might like to know how to fix it.

No

What I do was delete the whole thing and re-install the movie taking into account the things mentioned, especially the option "[ ] Render Loop Region Only", I made sure that this was unchecked.. That seemed to sort the problem out

This is just a guess, but I suspect you're getting the 0x80070020 because the file you are trying to render to is being used by another process (maybe a Media Player or another instance of Vegas).

I'd try re-booting the computer, opening Vegas only and retry the render.
