Neat Video has released Neat Video for Sony Vegas. This is a noise reduction plug-in that both perform spatial and temporal noise reduction. See:

I have used this plug-in in VirtualDub and Adobe Premiere Elements for a long time, and I am very satisfied with what the plug-in can do. I have also purchased and tested Neat Video in Vegas 7.0d and Sony Vegas Movie Studio (Platinum) 7.0. So far I have not encountered any problems. (Neat Video also works with Vegas 6.0.)

I also have the virtual dub version of this plugin. I wish they would give an upgrade price, I should check.

I have used this same plugin in Photoshop for years, I love it!!

Doing family and holiday videos I always thought that the grainy look from too little light was something I had to live with - however trying this Neat demo really surprised me.
Just using the standard settings it tuned up my under exposed grainy clips to a surprising perfection I had never dreamed of.
