New Vegas tutorial, veg files up for you to learn from...

Jason Abbott has created a brilliant and creative tutorial for another handwriting/animation that can be found on the Sundance site. http://www.sundancemediagroup.com/help/kb/
If you don't know Jason, he's the secret behind the system that allows the downloading of veg files, tutorials, and scripts on the Sundance site. Thanks, Jason!

SPOT, maybe you can tell him there's something wrong with pages - I was trying to regixter and never got validation code sent to me (e-mail is correct since requesting password I receive e-mail). Requesting resending validation code generates error on page. I sent e-mail for support a week ago and never got reply too.
I was planning to upload a script or two and look at what others did - no luck yet.

Thanks.

Hmmm....
I'll pass this on to Jason, unless you are using a bogus email address or have a specific type of ISP issue, it has been working flawlessly.

Alexei,

I was just there, registered, received email with validation code within a few seconds, copy and pasted the code from the email to the registration page, and registration was complete all within two or three minutes. I didn't see anything wrong with the Web pages.

Tried "Resend the validation code" and it worked this time.

Thanks to SPOT et al.

All I can say is WOW! A lot of stuff there.

Yeah, we've been kinda the 'defacto' Vegas training/tutorial site. One of the other forum space has started copying our work, but we'll perservere in spite of a business trying to 'steal' our concepts and work. More still to come. During the writing of the Vegas 4 book, it prevented me from doing tutorials, but I'm back on the tutorial warpath, this is why you've seen 7 new tutorials go up in the past 2 weeks.
thanks for visiting!

Only problem is that I can't log in. I enter my name & password and get:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: '[string: ""]'

So, Chaps! I'm guessing here - I'll need SpiceMaster2.0 or SpiceMaster any flavour - yes?

I've downloaded both Jason's Tute and the Veg and the media [ well most of the media - not all ] but I've since realised the need to have the SM s/w. I don't have any . . .

Grazie

Grazie,

You should get SpiceMASTER for all the great things it gives you ... but I did put up a new version of the handwriting thing that doesn't require it.

jetdv,

I've e-mailed you privately. The error is on the line that calculates your timezone based on the time reported by your browser, so I think it may be related to the specific browser you're using.

Zulqar,

I've thought about having the registration make you type your e-mail address twice to help prevent typos. :) I've updated your registration on the site with your correct e-mail address. Go there again and click the link to have it resend your validation code. You should get it this time.

I can't even sign up. I get the "VB Script runtime error." I'm using IE6 on a fresh install of WxpPro. iredale@email.com
