You can download the v1.1 of Ultimate S from here and get 3 free new tools including
Film Looks functions greatly enhanced including Reduce Interlace Flicker when modifying 4:3 to 16:9 if you want it, and the addition of 30P for those who prefer that output format.
Photo Montage Source Timeline saves selections between invocations
Editing Fade In/Out now has additional checkboxes to turn them on and off individually so you don’t have to zero out the values to turn them off
Markers Added Selected Events to Regions which creates regions around all selected events.

There are also a number of additional enhancements and some small bug fixes, plus a work around for a Vegas bug in the Media Pool.

The Update is free for current Ultimate S owners, and the extra new tools are our way of saying "Thanks for the support!"

Ultimate S now offers 55 tools under one roof.

BTW, Before you install the new version:
WARNING: Please follow this important uninstall procedure to avoid loss of settings.

Okay, I'm a dunce. I went to the site and didn't see a link for the free 1.1 update.

Jay, the link wasn't underlined, and was the same color as the surrounding text. I've had that changed, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I just did a photo montage for my wife's aunt's 60th birthday. Scanning and fixing all the photos took about 14 hours. The Vegas project using UltimateS took maybe half an hour! What a time saver! The photos where the camera is sideways are a bit of a pain, and you have to move center points around a little to emphasize the action, but even so, your almost done five minutes into working with UltimateS!

The build number on the latest Ultimate S build is 1.1.0.600. If you downloaded a 1.1 build last night, please check that you have the correct one. There was an earlier build that had some problems and we think we caught it in time but it’s always best to check.

Another new feature (i forgot to tell Douglas about) is that L/J Cuts now works with audio that has been replaced. You must keep the original audio as a take for this to work properly but if you edit your audio in Sound Forge and bring it back as a take, L/J Cut will now find it as the audio for the video event.

Also Ultimate S will install into a new directory .\Script Menu\VASST Ultimate S. The new directory name has VASST in front of it now to keep in together with some new products we are working on. You will need to re-establish your toolbar icon because of this (sorry)

As Douglas pointed out, if you created your own presets, please save your UltimateS.js.settings file BEFORE you uninstall! The new release will save them for you in the future but the old release will, unfortunately, uninstall them. Also you will have to enter your license key again but you won’t have to do this in the future either. We are learning a lot as we go. ;-)
