This may sound stupid but I do not do this for a living. When you talk about ethics, what do you mean? Ethics for what? Thanks for the explanation.

Not to speak for the OP, but from watching the video, looks like it's about business ethics. Maybe Eron should have watched this a few years ago?

Dibbkd got it right. Most large corporations have ethics departments devoted to keeping the ethics in business theme at the forefront of everyday operations and to evaluate "situations" that are reported by whistle blowers. They work closely with the legal folks to keep the business out of trouble. By sponsoring film festivals like this they drumb up awareness. It's been very very good to me.

Jim,

Awesome video! I'm living with just a hair better than dial-up speed for internet and the whole 93MB download was worth it. Very cool.

Other than the software you already mentioned (Vegas, Acid, Photopaint), did you use any other plugins or anything other than the "vanilla" Vegas (i.e. Pixelan Spices, Wax, Ultimate S, Excaliber, etc.)? I'm assuming the "quake" you added was some type of script or something. Seems like I saw one around here about a year ago.

Again, sweet creativity, humor, tasteful use of effects, etc.

Thanks Brian,

Quake is VAAST script/plugin that is available to download at their wonderful site:

Other than that, I don't think I used any other external tools... unless you count my dog who was treated to a few stale bread crusts. Just Can't remember, what's the "E" in PETA stand for?

Jim H, I forgot to mention - yeah, I loved the video too.

Can I copy it and show it at the corporation I work at? just kidding, (copyright joke there...)

Anyway, I am assuming it's OK to "steal" some of the video editing ideas, like the salt words were cool, and the dog un-eating the words were cool too.. and you pulled the whole B&W thing off very well.

The whole thing was cool.

For anyone that's interested, I posted some stills and photos of some of the techniques I used in this film. I turned in the final last week and shared the link to a few friends. Lots of questions so I thought I'd share:
