Newbee Noise help

Questions:
1) When the cursor hovers over an example of a Noise icon in the Generated Media Tab, does the example animate? My icons do not.
2) Once one selects and clicks on a noise example does one see a key frame window at the bottom of the controls window. I do not.
3) How do you get the noise media to animate? When I download .veg examples I see animated noise on my time line. I see no keyframes, so I surmise that noise is inherently animated. However, when I place noise icons from my Generated Media Tab to the timeline I never get animation. All frames look the same no mater how I move the controls.

1) No, they do not. They are not inherently animated.

2) You probably need to drag the control window out taller to see the keyframe timeline at the bottom.

3) There are many ways to animate them, but all use keyframes. Most of us probably use the Progress control and set this to different start & end values. You can also use the X & Y positioning to move the texture across the frame.

Sometime the obvious is hard to find. Thank you for your help. I’m making noise now.
