Newbie Cap Question - Audio..

Hi Folks.. Iwas just trying to capture a vid Clip out of my Analog Cam through an ATI RADEON card. Video Caps ok but when I line in through my Soundblaster Live I get no audio. It seems to be selected in the program.
(just to test..I ran the basic Sound Recorder (win XP) and attempted to record from Audio IN but nothing..) Any Clue..? (I know Audio is going out due to playing on TV through VCR with Same Cable Setup..)

If you haven't checked your recording mixer settings, that's likely where your problem is. Double-click on the little speaker icon on you taskbar and select "Options", then "Properties", then "Recording". Make sure the Line-in value is selected and the recording volume turned up. You should then be able to use the standard sound recorder to test it.
