how did oyu render the dvd & what was the settings on the images/video you put in the project? Sounds like a field order problem to me (use reduce interlace flicker in stills to help solve that)

The original project was rendered in Vegas Movie Studio 6.0. Where do find the setting to reduce the interlace flicker?

You can do it a few different ways:

1. right click the media element in the timeline and go down to "properties". You'll see a check box for "reduce interlace flicker" just under an option for aspect ratio.

2. right click the media element in the timeline and go down to "switches". That opens a new pane with an option for "reduce interlace flicker".

#2 is helpful in that you can ctrl-click or shift-click multiple elements and apply the "reduce interlace flicker" as a batch command rather than selecting each element.
