Newbie in the ranks!!

Hi folks
I am new to the realm of video editing and someone suggested to me in a newsgroup, that I should try VideoFactory 2.0.
So I will be lurking and reading previous threads (before I ask any stupid questions).
If I do ask, please don't shoot....LOL

Based on that persons recommendation and enthusiasm about the software... I have ordered it and downloaded the manual.
I have to read and try...then ask the questions.

One of the good things you will like about VF is that this Forum system works. The VF Tech Support folks read and often respond to questions. I came over from Videowave (choke) where Tech Support refused to answer questions and blamed every problem on the user.
