Open TWO "instances" of Vegas:

1] Instance A with Project A

2] Instance B with Project B

3] Right Click on Event in ProjB > Copy

4] Switch to Instance A Project A and go Paste

DONE!

This is a great feature of Vegas - Multi-Instances.

Open both projects and copy and paste from one to the other right onto the timeline - the media will appear in your media pool.

edit: Grazie beat me to it ;)

Clip, or event? Just to make sure the difference is clear ... A clip is a file on the hard drive. An event is one piece of something on the timeline. The procedure for copying from project A to project B is good for multiple events. However, if you have a clip on your hard drive that you want to use in a different project then simply add it to the new project from the explorer window. No need to copy clips from one project to another.
