newbie question--please help

Hello,
I have created a simple Menu-based DVD. One menu with one button that plays the video media.

At the end of the playback of the video, I would like control to automatically return to the menu. But the screen just stays black.

How do I change it so that we return to the menu at the end of the video?

Strange - the default behaviour is usually to return to menu.

To check this - on the menu, double click the button to open the movie, then look under "End Action" in Media Properties - it should be set to
Command - Link
Destination - Most Recent Menu
