Did I import the media correctly? I think so. I've added events to tracks, played the project both video and audio in the preview window, and even burned a couple of DVDs. So now I think I'm a genius except that out of the clear blue, the record and play buttons have greyed out. I can't play my projects on the preview window!
What gives? Microsoft sound Zapper is the audio device that's selected. It is the default selection in Options>prefererences.
OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394/DV is the video device that's selected, again by default in Options>preferences. I thought I'd solved my own problem when Options>preferences>preview device says that the OHCI is "device unavailable." So I toggled "windows secondary display" and nothing changed - still the record and play buttons are greyed out.
What gives? This seems so odd... I don't think I changed anything. The record and play funcitons worked fine to run the preview window yesterday, and for several days before that. Thanks for your help.
