@misohoza I've been doing some research on this. Here's what I've discovered - apparently this option was supposed to be removed in version 7 and the place where you select them has been removed. Unfortunately, the places where you create them still exist. So, it appears, you can create them but you can't select them. If I find out more, I'll let you know.

@misohoza Hi, just had a play but i can't get that t work, but the empty Scene folder in Design Templates is for your own custom templates, open that Scene folder - File - Save current design to library , puts it in that folder, just in case you didn't know, 🤷‍♂️😉

Or open a folder, right click Save current design here. 🤷‍♂️

Just got the TotalFX a few weeks ago. So I am trying the Titler Pro 7. Could you please check something for me?

Some of the style presets are missing fonts, at least on my system. I have opened a ticket with NewBlue but so far we didn't get to the bottom of it. When you hover over the Basic>Gold style, can you see what font it has?

Another issue I have is that the title is one frame short on Vegas timeline, so I get a black frame on the last frame. No a big deal if you know about it but BorisFX Title Studio or Vegas titles don't do this.

@misohoza Yep same here for both, I'm not sure why Gold is in that list, it's the only one using an Image File instead of a colour, but you can select a Font if you choose it, I guess it's just a example...

& yep the text is missing the last frame, In TS the last frame shows the text

I rendered/exported it from TS7 as MOV file & when loaded into Vegas it has the last frame blank, i don't know why 🤷‍♂️

@misohoza You can trim the end but you need to click the Match Event length button then trim it, whether this will mess up timings that were set in TS i dunno,

Yes, if I set the generated media length 1 frame longer than the actual event it seems to work.

For the missing fonts, the "Gold" style preset was just an example. Actually there are quite a few of them. Sure I can pick whatever font I want from the list. But if I save the project like this (with no font chosen) then next time I load the project I get a popup message asking me to locate the font. From that I gather the style preset should have some font. But because the font is not present on my system it just falls back to Arial and the font selection field stays empty. This is the issue I am trying to get resolved with NewBlue support. So far no luck.

@misohoza I'm not sure what you mean, i can't add that Gold style unless there's a font on the timeline,

File - Save to library - Project, puts it in the Design Templates with the font & the gold colour as i chose,

File - Export - Project with Assets (i saved to desktop) also loaded as i chose on the timeline,

@Former user Sorry for the confusion. I shouldn't mix several issues in one topic.

The original query was about how to use paragraph templates. This was answered by jetdv.

Then I mentioned another 2 issues, incorrect media length and missing fonts for some of the style presets. I can save and load project templates fine. This is ok.

To repro the issue just open Titler Pro 7, select the text and apply the "Gold" style preset. At this point the font selection field is blank (my very first screenshot). Go to File>Save, give it some name. Then load the preset you just saved from File>Open, or just use File>Recent Designs menu. After doing this I get:

@misohoza I can't repro your font problem. I've just applied the gold style to some text and the font selection field is showing 'Century Schoolbook'. I've saved it and reloaded it. Works as expected.

What build TP7 are you using? I'm on Build 210922.
