NewBlue Titler Problem

I am running VMS HD Platinum v11 and having a problem getting the NewBlue titler plugin to work. When I do insert that generator into the timeline I get "Titler can't work due to low GPU capabilities" error message in the plugin textbox. I am logged in as a normal user when this error occurs. However when I log in to the admin privileged account on the same machine the NewBlue titler works just fine. So it is not a hardware limitation rather it seems to be some subtle permissions/ACLs problem.

Has anyone experienced this problem and/or have suggestions for a solution?

I know you have already reported this direct to NewBlue and I also know they are researching the issue.

I have just had the same problem (win7 64bit by the way) and can only get round it by logging on as administrator.

Any news on where NewBlue are with the problem - or whether there is a workaround (other than the admin logon)?

A few miniutes later I have managed to resolve the issue simply by updating my graphics driver (which was only 2 months out of date!)

I guess NewBlue has raised the issue with the GPU company - anyway it's solved - thanks!!
