It's on a postcard included in the package that says "Congratulations!" at the top of it.

I had trouble with my number and went to their website and found that because of the font they used to print the cards, the number 1 appears to be the letter I. So I was typing an I, when I should have been typing a 1.

Good luck.

Thanks for passing on that correct advice.

In addition, if the serial number still doesn't work, go to our support page, http://www.newbluefx.com/support/, provide us with the errant number, and we'll look it up and send you the corrected one.

To view the effects, go to the View menu in Vegas and choose "Video FX" and they will show up in a pane at the bottom left. You can drag and drop an effect onto a clip.

Same goes for transitions - select "Transitions", choose the transition, and then drag onto the section of a clip where they overlap, indicating a transition.
