Thank for the link.

I will definitely be making use of Split Screen. The other effects look good too, especially Auto Contrast.

Great to see they are 64-bit compatible, too! All my other New Blue effects are relegated to SVP 10, sadly.

Well, I guess that confirms that the link wasn't intended for the general public. I deleted the installation file from my system already.

is this deal still viable. I tried following the link and could not get the page to load.

Any thoughts?

Maybe it was a black friday week deal only? If it was only for AVID, why did they offer selections for all those other NLEs?

Anyway, I tried the downloads from Mac and Win from the emails I got with serial numbers. Downloads still worked. Don't know how to get a serial number unless you email them and ask.

The link for free color grading I posted above still work. They are not the same as those effects but still fun and handy.

The NewBlue Video Essentials packages include check-boxes for all the supported NLEs. The installer detects which NLE is installed, or you can select which NLE you have if the installer does not automatically detect it.

Lenny, you stated:

All of the NewBlue plugins are 64-bit compatible. They don't need to be "relegated to SVP 10" - just reinstall and choose the 64-bit option during installation. NewBlue plugins have been 64-bit compatible with Vegas ever since Vegas Pro 8.1 - the first 64-bit version - was introduced.

two different sets I got free with movie studio and vegas pro are not 64 bit. work in 32 only. had to revert back to pro 11 to use them. :(

jdw, you don't need to delete it. It will work fine. To all who got it free - congratulations and you're welcome.

Yes, plugins bundled with Movie Studio 11 and older were all 32-bit only because Movie Studio was only 32-bit. However, all of the retail products have been 64-bit since Vegas Pro 8.1 was released.

Thanks very much! I also got the offer email from Sony this morning for the Cyber Monday discount for Newblue products -- I guess I need to get shopping :-)

I got the download though the SCS website, but I never received a serial number. How do I go about getting one?
