Newport Beach Film Festival

My first short film, "Don't Make Eye Contact" has just been accepted by this festival. I know next to nothing about them other then they have a good reputation for not playing politics with their selections. So if anyone can tell if this is a big deal or not being accepted I would appreciate it.
But, if anyone here lives near this area and has an interest in watching a Chaplin-esque short comedic film which was made with Vegas, then please come on out and say hello.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Making this movie was hard damn work and I'm about tired of seeing it rejected from festivals. I think the main problem is I'm unknown and worse still, my movie has a plot with a beginning, middle, and end.
Anyway, the movie is showning as part of the "Nine-to-Five Shorts" on April 17th at 4pm and again on April 20th at 11AM. Both showings will be at the "Edwards Island 4".
I have no idea where this is as I live in the deep south. But I will have to figure it out at some point as I'm planning of being there.
