I couldn't find any answer so I'm posting my problem here.
Source video:
Progressive 23.976 fps
I encoded the video to:
3:2 pulldown playback 23.976 fps (internally 29.97 fps)
------------------
In GSpot it shows as a compliant DVD. In the Explorer window of DVD Architect Studio the video file says 23.976 fps mpeg-2. However, when I Optimize the project the video is flagged and says it has to recompress. The exact error is:
"24p encoding is not supported in this product"
The problem is that the video is mpeg-2 (DVD) compliant. Why is it showing up with 24p and saying that it's non-compliant? I'd like to author the video without recompressing/encoding it.
