No audio levels when using Screen Capture

I have Vegas Movie Studio 16 Platinum. When I click on Screen Capture, I can capture videos. However my audio source shows on the right hand side, and when I speak into the microphone there is no levels (no sound) registering.

It's the same for me. There are several threads here and in the Vegas Pro section on problems with this new Screen Capture feature.
