No matter what audio format I use, whether AC-3 or wav as separate files, or the audio built into a video file, when I make a DVD image (the "Prepare" option), there is no audio when played back on my PC. I also tried burning the image onto a DVD and playing it back from the disc, but still no audio. I even turned on the resample option on the Optimize menu, in the hopes of forcing the audio, but still nothing.

I am using the trial version, and this is certainly enough reason to not spend hundreds of dollars. Any solutions from the people at Sony?

If I use PCM audio when making the DVD, it plays correctly in windows media player, but AC-3 doesn't. WTF?
