NO CLIPS when importing video tape

I have a bunch of old 8mm and Digital 8 video I'm trying to archive. I don't want the files broken into clips I just want one big file . How do I get Vegas Movie Studio to do that? Thanks .. K

If you're using VidCap, under options / preferences / capture turn off "enable dv scene detection". With that off, you'll get one clip for each time you manually start/stop capture.

I was importing the video using Vegas Movie Studio directly from the Camcorder using the Firewire port.

Under " Project "
"Capture Video"
