No date/time stamp capturing from HDR-HC1 HDV

If I capture HDV in Vegas6c, I don't get any date/time stamp for my captured M2t-files.

Can anyone tell me why?

Does anyone know if Vegas in the future will let us have scene detect when capturing HDV?

I'm using Sony HDR-HC1.

You have time/date set in the cam?
You won't see a time/date stamp in the media, but you should be able to see it in properties.

In the clips properties the timestamp is blank.

I really can't find the date-stamp anywhere - and I'm pretty sure my cam is correct configured, because I do have timestamp on the LCD-screen.

There are only very few capture tools which are able to keep the tapes datestamp of HDV. HDV datestamp is different compared to DV datestamp.

Not sure but I think the capture tool of Canopus Edius does it.
