No event split tab

on prior versions of MS, I could have an "event split" icon on the tool bar, but can't find it on the tool bar options in Platinum MS. Also, the keyboard S is supposed to do a split but doesn't work. Any way to get these functions?

..I have MS Platinum, & the s key works for me.....of course, you need to have the cursor(slider) over the clip you want to split on the timeline, & where you want it split...

Hey, tumbleweed, you lucky guy. Does anybody have a clue as to what to do if the keyboard shortcuts don't work?

You probably already figured it out, but you can click on Edit, then Split.

But the S key should work fine... not sure why it doesn't on yours.
