Hi Guys,

I'm running VP8 on XP pro.

Just got this error when attempting to render to quicktime from HDV material.

"no existing templates support this media"

Never seen this before in Vegas.

Any ideas?

Project resolution is 1024x576 but I tried changing the resolution and that had no effect.

Do you have a newer version of QuickTime?

The V8 readme says:
Vegas 8 requires QuickTime 7.1.6 or later. As a general rule, you are encouraged to use the most current version of QuickTime.

Yep, thats what it was. The PC only had quicktime 6.4 installed.

A more informative error message might have been nice :-)
