Hi all, I just purchased movie studio 13 platinum a few days ago. I am using a Radeon 5850 with an i5 2400. The thing is, I am unable to get my GPU to render videos in the SONY AVCHD format. I have already chosen "render using gpu if available" and the Check GPU button shows that OPENCL is available. Strangely enough, when I use mainconcept avc and choose the OpenCL option it works fine. I used gpu-z to track gpu usage and it shows 0% using Sony AVCHD and about 60% using Mainconcept. Rendering times are significantly faster using GPU rendering in Mainconcept too.

I am using the latest Catalyst 14.6 drivers.

Any idea why GPU acceleration only works for me using Mainconcept and not Sony AVCHD?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
