No more short key to FX

Hello.
There is a function that completely disappeared from Vegas Pro and is missing me! 😟

In older versions when I click on the VideoFX tab, in order to reach quickly an effect, I hit on the keyboard the first letter of the FX name and the selection goes directly on the first FX beginning with this letter.

E.g.: I want to select the FX Color Curves, then I click on the Video FX tab, then I hit the letter C and the selection in the long list went on the Color Balance, which is close to Color Curves. Idem for Sharpen or whatever effect.

Is it possible to reintroduce this function?
Thank you.

Curious as to which version you could do that?

For sure, from version 8 to the 17.

They also had folders in 17 for something like BorisFX, but things were changed 18 onward. It's still a feature request for me. I've sort of given up hope on it though.

It looks like what it did was search for the effect based on the letter. If you keep hitting the "C" it will advance to the next effect that begins with "C". Nice shortcut, but since they changed the effx tab elements, they probably had to change that function.
