Just remember that only the render-only installations can not use
MPEG-2. You can still use network rendering to create an MPEG-2 movie,
you just need to choose a different segment format and stitch on the
editing machine... usually you'd create a YUV template or choose a DV
template for the segment format.

Stitching does take a bit longer when it also needs to do MPEG
encoding but you can still get faster render times (depending on the
situation).

not to sure what that answer means.. so if I bought 2 vegas licenses, then I can use mpeg2 network rendering?
