No output on external TV.

When i click on preview on external viewer nothing shows up.

I am using a ATI 8500 DV and I have it outted to a TV via RCA.

Any thoughts?

The external preview goes over the firewire. You need to run your firewire cable to the camera and then plug the TV into the camera and use the camera as the pass-thru device.
