No renderer found for source reader

When starting VF 2.0c, I'm suddenly getting this message:

"No renderer found for source reader"

I have completely un-installed VF and then re-installed, but the message remains. I have also re-run the DirectX 8.0a installation. I am running Win98 SE. Any ideas of what I can do to get rid of this message?

SF tech support provided the answer: the TWAIN_32.DLL file and the TWAIN.DLL file had been deleted from the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory and moved to the C:\WINDOWS\VCM directory. Moving them to the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory solved the problem. I don't know which application messed up the TWAIN drivers.
