no sound after rendering

recorded a 2 hour show using a ATI TV card ,I cut out the commercials and rendered project with template DVD NTSC video stream and save as type mainconcept MPEG 2 well after spending 4 hours rendering there is no sound .. played project with media player ,WHATS upWITH THAT ...dont want to waste my blank DVDS expermenting

I think you have to check the "Audio Stream" button. I'm not in front of Vegas right now so I can't be specific. When you are rendering, select Custom after you have changed to the MPEG2 codec and go to the Audio tab.

You should now render as an AC3 file the audio of the project.

Make sure to give it the same name as the video file you rendered, that is:

foobar.mpg - Video
foobar.ac3 - Audio

When you add the video file to a DVD architect project, the ac3 file will automatically be associated to it.
