"No" Symbol Stamped on Photo

I have a photo in a video I'm making, and I want a "No" symbol (circle with a slash from top left to bottom right) stamped over the top of it.

The point I'm trying to make is that the individual in the photo does not meet the right criteria.

In another section I use the same photo with a checkbox, indicating that he meets other criteria.

Anybody have suggestions for doing this?

You use Photoshop or Gimp to create the "no" symbol with transparent background at the right size as your video project's size. You export it as png with transparency. Then, you place it on top of the picture you want, on the "video overlay" track. That's it. It will overlay your video track and transparency will work its magic. Of course, you need image manipulation skills on photoshop or gimp to create that image.
