I've been with the "Vegas program" since 1.0. My last upgrade was to Vegas6 +DVDA3, and without fail I always received an upgrade offer from Sony/Sofo.
How come I haven't received any special upgrade offers for Vegas 7 and DVDA4? Has anyone? I can't seem to find it on the website.
I haven't received any upgrade notice either. Maybe they are only going to video users? Also, someone posted a link to an upgrade offer about 2 weeks ago which I bookmarked, but when I tried it today, I got a "permission denied" notice. Weird stuff happening in Madison these days. . .
If you have registered and updated your My Account information, any available upgrades will be listed there for you and should reflect any appropriate discounts/bundles.
I did in fact check my account first but there was no special offer, just the regular $234.95 upgrade path. The current special downloadable upgrade price is $100 cheaper, and there was no mention of that in the My Account upgrade information.

There is some issue going on, because when I enter my serial number for Vegas 5.0 in the dialogue on the upgrade page, my shopping cart is showing a total $100 more than the order pages price. (Unless you guys really gouge on the shipping : )
Thank you! The first time I used your link, the price listed was 143, but when I added it to my cart and checked out, the price jumped up to 243. Yesterday I tried it again, and it stayed at 143 during checkout. So thanks to your information, I will soon be the proud owner of Vegas 7 with DVD Architect.
Sadly, the last few weeks I have been finishing up a project at work in DVD Studio Pro. (Lots of nice features, but as unstable as all get out.) Based upon the needs of the current projects, my company just upgraded our DVD seats to Final Cut Pro Studio. If I would have known that Vegas 7 was coming so soon, I would have been able to put the full court press into moving to a Sony solution. (We have some nice AMD dual core systems showing up in the next couple of weeks, so the alignment could have been great.)
