No video preview from timeline

Working in Vegas Pro 8 and have just upgraded to 9.0 but haven’t used it yet.
This sounds really silly but I can’t get my video preview working with my current edit project in Vegas Pro 8.0.
I have opened a previous edit project and the preview monitor works fine.
In the problem project I can use video preview to monitor files in my project media bin but not from the time line
I’ve obviously done something during the last edit to lose preview but try as I might, I can’t discover what is causing this.
Does that mean I have to go back to a previous backup file to restore the video preview?
Any advice appreciated

Track or video bus muted ?

Check in the trimmer window that "Show Video Monitor" is NOT checked/pressed.

Problem solved. "Thanks to Lord of the Newbies"
The Video bus had been turned off and was muted.
Lesson well learned. Again thanks.
