No Video Track, just audio when drag & drop HELP!!

hey everyone, i need some help. im trying to understand why this is happening and hopefully get a fix to this! im using vegas 6 and when i rip one of my dvds (my own content) i go to edit the avi file (or even with mp4) and the video track doesnt show up!
somebody please help

Did you try importing from camcorder disc (maybe it is called something else) instead of trying to drag and drop?

thanks a lot, i imported from dvd camcorder disc. that worked, and was much easier than what i was doing haha!
