No Volume at all sometimes

I copied movie to VHS with volume very low and now I have copied my 2nd movie to VHS tape and it plays no volume at all. It also plays no volume when attempt to play the rendered copy on my C/My Movies folder.I rendered it the same as my first movie I rendered that has volume to it. Please advise.

Having similar problems converting to an AVI file to save to DV; haven't worked around the problem yet, but we are with someone that might help. I will post any messages I get back.
