Noise in audio

I have installed the expressfx components, but when I
attempt to use them, I hear noise "bursts" in the audio.
When tested, it does translate it into the rendered video.

Also, I installed MGI VideoWave (which I had first, but
hadn't used since rebuilding this computer until recently -
I needed something it did). Since, I have gotten the same
noise bursts in the audio since then, even in projects that
did not have this problem when they were originally created
and rendered.

How can you get rid of the these problems?

Bill-

Here's one way you can do this...

1. Go find the section you want to delete.
2. If it's in the middle, find the beginning of the scrap,
and click you mouse to place the cursor.
3. Hit the 'S' key to split it.
4. Find the other end of the scrap. Repeat above steps.
5. Take the isolated chunk, right click, and
select 'delete'. (Delete audio and video both).
6. Take the edge(s) of the good clip(s) and bring the gap
together.
7. If the scrap is in the FRONT of your clip, place your
cursor where the good stuff begins by clicking the spot.
8. Then grab the edge of the clip and shorten it to the
cusor. It should snap right to it.

Hope that helps

Load your AVI into the VF trimmer, select a 'scene', drag
and drop from trimmer onto the timeline.
