Noise instad of sund

Every time I import my videos, the sound is only noise. I have used this program for many years and it never happened before.

Is the behavior with all files types? MP3s have been known to produce a screeching sound in Vegas and Sound Forge. Try resetting VP and clearing the cache. See this post for instuctions .
