Non marked DVD-R most valuable... availability

I know this question has been asked multiple times, but I wanted to get the most up to date answer. Where (online or retail) is the best value (meaning quality at a good price) for DVD-r that have no markings and with a jewel case. Or is it cheaper to buy them seperate from two seperate places? My VHS copies of my production are on there way and I have a DVD burner and I want the DVD's for sale simotaneously with my VHS, so I am kind of in a hurry. Thanks to anyone who replies.

It's usually cheaper to buy them seperate. I would check out www.gegesysdtp.com a little known company that offers great prices on buld DVD and CD media.

I thought you had to have a 960.

blank white inkjet printable DVD-Rs; 50 for around 50 bucks. I have used some in a friends 5-6 year old sony DVD player that pukes when you put the CD-Rs in it, but these DVDs work great (Optodisc).

Meritline has actually been kinda shady lately, mainly with their Maxell discs. Some of them are stamped with the Maxell logo, and some aren't and seem to be from a diffrent manufaturer, yet they are selling them as Maxells.

I've had very good luck with meritline.

Meritline DVD-R

I have purchased many different brands. I have had very good luck with the Ritek G02 (only burns at 1X on my Pioneer A05), and with the "bulk"/"generic" Maxell 2X discs. If you get DVD-RW, stay away from the Samsung discs -- they definitely do not read on many DVD drives that otherwise read RW discs just fine.

Finally FWIW, since an earlier poster said he had problems with the Maxell discs, here is the ID information from my bulk Maxell DVD-R 2X discs:

The latest Epson 900 is a re-worked model that will do CD/DVD printing.
Cost me $200. Comes with software for CD/DVD Printing.
And if you print a regular photo from Photoshop the print quality is very high.
