Normalize

Select events to the end, switch,---normaiize
Seems simple enough.
So after following that procedure why is it that levels on my narration track are not normalized?
Any thought?

Normalise means to set the loudest peak to say -0.1dB. If you've selected a lot of events it only needs one peak that goes to say -0.5dB and you'll not see much of a jump in levels. You can see how much gain the Normalise has decided you need in media properties.

If what I've described is the issue a better approach might be compression.
