Notebook firewire adapter

Hello,

I have 2 notebook firewire adapters, one with a NEC chip, the other with a VIA chip. One works well with cameras, the other with my soundcard (btu not that well).

I'd like to buy a card with a TI chip as it might solve my problems, anyone knows a company that sells a card with a TI chip ?

Orange Micro does--(I'm 90% sure) but check with them first

I bought 2 cards from ebay that were tagged as having a TI chip, neither one did... I'll buy one full price this time I guess.
