Now my scanner won't work....

Don't really expect to find the answer here, but I'll post anyway.

Bought Dazzle DV80, recently downloaded VF evaluation, got everything to work fine.

Had to scan a document this evening and low and behold, my scanner, a Visioneer 7600 USB using Paperport 5.3 hangs.

I have a Belkin USB "4 port USB hub" with all ports full and two USB ports in PC, one to hub and another used by PDA "sync" cradle.

Any clues???

Did you get the updated driver for your scanner? Here is a link which describes your problem.

I went to to Visioneer website and downloaded their "fix". Ran it and now my system won't hang or give me the BSOD, but the scanner still won't scan. The file that I downloaded from the site that you recommended was a different size. Don't know if it was older or newer. I'll try it later and let you know if my problem goes away.
