NTSC monitor problem

Without my little DV cam I usually use to get signal to NTSC monitor.
Am using DVX for the next couple of weeks while Handicam vacations in sunny Italy. NTSC monitor , a newer 14 " Toshiba is in and our from blue to project.
Replaced cables and no change.
Never had this problem with little Sony DV cam.
Any suggestions welcome.

try toggling a/v -->DV out in the camera's menu.

Hit the video preview out button in Vegas.

Select the right input on your monitor.

That's what I can think of. Otherwise try swapping things.
