nudge audio track

I can't find a way to nudge or slide my audio track by pixels . I need to move the audio by less than a frame and none of the shortcuts seem to work. I searched the nudge topic here and found only one thread that says this can't be done. Can this be true??!

Have you turned OFF The QUANTIZE to FRAME option? That should allow you to move the audio by samples.

Just remember to turn it back on after you make your adjustments otherwise you're just asking for problems.

THANKS to both of you -- that did it! What should I expect to see happen if I forgot to turn The Quantize to frame setting back on?

VIdeo events should always be frame-aligned. If they're not, you can get seemingly random flashes of black frames and other weird anomolies at the start and end of events.
