Nutty bug, mute causing skipping

For a while since vegas four, sometimes hitting mute while playing would cause a computer freezing skip.

In vegas 5 I have a project with no UAD plugs where a track is muted, and upon beginning playback, the computer freezing skip starts up. This project has a video clip in it

I have isolated the track where muting it causes the skip, and it has a waves x noise plug on it
