Are there any plans to update VP22 to fix the NVENC encoder issue with the new NVIDIA drivers? NVIDIA says they can’t fix it and that it’s the responsibility of the Vegas developers. Please fix this. I don’t want to use VP23 (it’s been very problematic for me)
I posted the same complaint on Nvidia website. Also asked for help here on different threads.
Rolling back does help, but it is not a solution. Also due to the fact that the PC I have Vegas pro on is also my gaming PC, raises some questions about the performance of the games I am playing in free time.
I upgraded to Vegas 23 but some features that I wanted to use for my current project are not performing the way I want them to... Which overall is quite disappointing.
We just need to hope Nvidia might bring back legacy encoders, since apparently the new drivers affected a lot of applications.
Worth noting that the old free Voukoder does not work in V23 due to the rendering engine change in V23, the new Voukoder Pro a paid version does work. However if you are considering a paid application then also maybe consider happy Otter Scripts (HOS) as this has Render+ built in which provides very similar render options to the old Voukoder and many other useful tools for a similar one off price. HOS works in older Vegas versions and V23.
btw I can't use VP23 because it has serious issues with .mov (quicktime or ProRes) and alpha channels, aac.. I just can't... I need a solution, please devs.
Same here vegas 23 have critical bugs. Imposible to use for me like profesional work. But you can get voukouder and render... Exist a free version. Nvidia send a official reply to magix but magix not said nothing yet.

voukouder is not friendly, it's complicated to install and configure... I gave up
The latest NVidia driver indeed broken Vegas Pro 22 native MP4 render. But you can still render if you are using HOS or Voukoder. VP23 render with no issue for me. In either case, I don't use Vegas native render. I always used HOS or Voukoder for all my render.

I’m sorry, but I’m not looking for alternatives, I'm looking for a definitive solution by MAGIX.
Good luck. I highly doubt Magix Coming out with a fix. Magix pulled VP23 B356 almost 2 months later and still have not release a new built. What make you think Magix going to make VP22 a priority. Beside, VP24 is 7 months away.
Everything has been said here. Updates of older versions like VP22 took never place on a regular basis. Either one can stay with older drivers, or follow other suggestions. To blow up steam will not help, and is not in line with the community rules.
