NVIDIA Quadro FX 540 & External Monitor

I have the NVIDIA Quadro FX 540 Pro Video Edition with break out box and I can't figure out how to get video to my external monitor in vegas. I have an S-Video cable running out of the breakout box to my TV, but can't get any video to it.

To my knowledge Vegas will only really output to a Black Magic Decklink as far as non Firewire previews go. Previews on all types of output would definitely be a nice addition.

If you do a small "prerender to media player" you will see the video but that's it. Editing on the timeline must go thru the firewire unless you have selected the second monitor in the preferences instead of 1394.
