There should be a small pinhole in the front that you can insert a straightened paperclick for emergency eject.

But reboot the pc and try again first.

EDIT Actually try to eject while the PC is rebooting BEFORE the system tries to read it.

That did get the tray open. But the unit is still flashing and not working. Probably just went T.U.

Also, if using the paperclip method, open the drawer very slowly just in case the disc is still spinning. I've had one fly out and hit me in the chest before. It wasn't enough to do any damage, but it was rather surprising!

I turn my computer off before I use the paperclip method.

On a side note, one time my CD drive started making funny noises. Like it was REALLY spinning up fast. I ejected the disk & it almost spun out of the tray. :)

Remove the drive and then the cover plate. Take your time, it's not that difficult to do. Inspect for anything bent or cracked.
