I have still not received a response from Ulead yet about a problem I am having with DVD workshop Version 1.3.
1.3 is supposed to fix compatibilty problems. It doesn't!
I thought I would ask here as I know quite a few of you use it.

My problem is that on some stand-alone DVD players the highlight menu system does not display. It seems to be invisible. So selecting menus and chapters ends up being guesswork. It works fine on my own Pioneer model thank goodness.
But I am supplying DVDs to my customers (yes, I video weddings!), so I am always nervous as to whether the finshed disc will work on their machines.
I even had one display this problem on a brand new Sony DVD player.
So the compatibilty problem is not just restricted to older players.

When I test my DVD projects out on my computer, I can reproduce this problem.
If tested using PowerDVD everything works fine.
If I use WinDVD the menu highlighting problem is present.

What the hell is going on?
Is this just the state of affairs that exist with DVD authoring, or are there serious bugs in DVD Workshop?

Any feedback, ideas, appreciated.
